Born and raised in Tamaki Makaurau, New Zealand and now living in London (like every other 20-something year old kiwi), MAGNA WORLD is a creative outlet for me to explore different multi-media skills and hobbies.  Hopefully I make some pocket money too, although it will probably be spent on more crafts.

Deeply inspired by music, performance, disco, space, earth and subcultures of these, MAGNA garments are to be worn with attitude and to express yourself. These garments are made to be special, and if you throw them in the bin or in any way disrespect them, they will find you and never stop haunting you.

I’m a personal fan of seeing the humanity in hand-made garments - a human touch is non-perfect. Only machines that create garments will have 0 faults in their construction - whilst no item will be sent to you faulty, I do urge you to think about how some not-so-straight stitching means that a pair of hands spent hours building your clothes. There’s a beauty to it x
